Twitter Says CFO Anthony Noto’s Account Was Hacked
Twitter Chief Monetary Officer Anthony Noto’s Twitter account was hacked, the corporate acknowledged Tuesday. The tweets, which seemed to be spam, have been within the format of direct replies to different customers with a URL that redirected to a different web site. There have been some 296 tweets despatched over an eight-minute interval. They have been deleted by 2:25 p.m. ET.
This was the second time in three months that Noto’s personal Twitter account made information. In late November, he apparently posted as a public tweet one thing associated to an acquisition that was meant to have been a personal direct message.
