Steve Jobs awarded posthumous Grammy for 'significant contributions to music'

It is fairly troublesome to argue that each Apple’s iPod and — to a good larger extent — its contentious iTunes software program have not had an enormous impression on the music business. The Recording Academy has determined to acknowledge this, naming the previous CEO and Apple co-founder Steve Jobs for a Trustees Award for “excellent contributions to the business in a non-performing capability.” It is going to be the second Grammy to rejoice Apple’s contributions to the music business — its work in recording netted it a Technical Grammy precisely ten years in the past.
