Open Bionics Creates Disney-Inspired Bionic Hands For Amputee Kids

Bionic palms startup Open Bionics now makes Iron Man and Elsa-themed arms and arms for the smallest of amputees – kids.

Open Bionics hopes to get kids passionate about their prosthetics with designs from Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars.

“[Kids] gained’t have to do boring bodily treatment, they’ll follow to transform heroes,” reads the Open Bionics website in regards to the announcement. “They’re not merely getting medical models, they’re getting bionic palms impressed by their favorite characters.”

The Walt Disney Agency is donating the time and work of its inventive teams and providing royalty free licenses from Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars to Open Bionic for this problem.
