The CEO of Google’s house automation firm, Nest, is leaving. Tony Fadell made the announcement in the present day in a weblog submit, saying he’ll stay as an adviser to Alphabet and CEO Larry Web page. Marwan Fawaz, a former exec with Adelphia, Constitution and Motorola Mobility and chairman of CableLabs, will step in as the brand new CEO. Fadell is most well-known for having led the engineering staff that developed the iPod, earlier than he left Apple to co-discovered Nest with Matt Rogers in 2010, which targeted on residence units like its related thermostat.
