Minecraft is geting a narrative-based mostly recreation from the studio behind The Strolling Lifeless and Recreation of Thrones
Minecraft‘s silent landscaper Steve is exiting his blocky world and getting into Telltale’s world of tales: Minecraft is getting a “narrative-pushed” recreation from the parents behind The Strolling Lifeless and Recreation of Thrones video games. Like Telltale’s different work, Minecraft: Story Mode shall be episodic and out there on all kinds of platforms when it launches “a while in 2015.” Apparently Microsoft’s promise to maintain Minecraft multiplatform is holding, regardless of the acquisition.
Telltale’s describing the sport as a “partnership with Mojang,” and says it will not exist as an attachment to Minecraft — it is a standalone episode collection “pushed by participant selection.” Each Mojang and Telltale level out that they are working with the group to craft the narrative, and Mojang specificaly says, “We’re not intending on creating an ‘official’ story for Steve [the primary protagonist of Minecraft], or explaining the world of Minecraft intimately.”
There are not any photographs or video of the sport in motion simply but, however we anticipate an analogous, distinct artwork fashion to that of Minecraft.
