Microsoft Fixes Bug in Home windows – After 19 Years
Microsoft Corp issued patches on Tuesday to repair a bug in its Home windows working system that remained undiscovered for 19 years.
The bug, which is current in each model of Microsoft Home windows from Home windows ninety five onward, permits an attacker to remotely take over and management a pc.
IBM Corp’s cybersecurity analysis workforce found the bug in Might, describing it as a "vital vulnerability" within the working system.
"The buggy code is at the least 19 years previous and has been remotely exploitable for the previous 18 years," IBM X-Pressure analysis group stated in its weblog on Tuesday.
