Facebook's Internet.org project brings free web access to users in India

Lower than a month after Fb launched its Web.org initiative to provide people in Colombia free net entry, the corporate is increasing its efforts to India. Reliance Communications subscribers in six states (Tamil Nadu, Mahararashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala and Telangana) can browse issues like information, climate, authorities information and job listings with the Web.org Android app. What’s extra, the majority of the choices can be found in seven languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati and Marathi. In case you’ll recall, the Web.org app can also be obtainable in Kenya and Zambia, connecting customers in these areas with primary providers and native information, too.
